BITA ----Watch your freakin watch list ! lol

Last night I did not publish my watch list since I was busy painting my trading room Money Green haha. Maybe it wasnt a good idea NOT to publish my list. It could have been the reason why i wasnt as focused as usual today. First I would like to start with a video I absolutely LOVE on Focus. Apply all he says to stocks. It will make a ton of sense. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhbYBb0huMs

Now that you have watched this awesome video. Let me talk about how I missed a brilliant play today because I was NOT focused. BITA. I had this one for a long today, possibly on a R/G move. Remember to start with the daily chart. This one was great and had bounced off support and confirmed it. Here is a look at the daily after todays action

So what I wanted to see here was either a push out of the gate and a nice pullback for a long or possibly a r/g move forming a nice little base before the push higher. I did not see this for a short at all so my bias was long and long only.

So as the day started I began watching quite a few stocks but I failed to focus on BITA which was one of my main stocks. As the video above states, I was unable to say NO to the other stocks that were popping up on my scanner. Causing me to direct my focus on waaay too much. Multi tastking is not an option in trading, at least in my opinion. Later on when I looked it had done exactly what i wanted it to do. A r/g move was in play and had left me behind. Here is what I saw.

So far my best trading days have been days when I have a watch list and ONLY focus on the stocks from my watch list. Once I start bringing in new stocks from daily movers I start losing focus and that is when my mistakes start. I know many traders who post on twitter and what not seem to be focusing on 1million stocks at once , but how long have they been doing this for, how long have YOU been doing this for? Start slow, maybe 4-6 stocks on watch max! and then little by little once you can handle more start expanding your list. If you try to do too much too soon you will blow up
